The Alamosa Mean Moose had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.3 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 43-7 win over Woodland Park. Considering Alamosa has won three matches by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Dyson Woodward was his usual excellent self, throwing for 256 yards and three touchdowns, while also punching in two touchdowns on the ground. Brant Jackson was another key contributor, picking up 101 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Alamosa's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Woodland Park, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.
Alamosa will face off against Delta at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Delta is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. Woodland Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
