Clay lost to Peebles back in May of 2022, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Indians with a sharp 13-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won five contests by nine runs or more so far this season.

Clay is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Peebles, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.

Looking ahead, Clay will head out on the road to face off against St. Joseph Central at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Peebles, they will host Whiteoak at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
