Foreman have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They will take on Mineral Springs at 7:00 PM. Foreman have bulldozed their previous seven opponents, so Mineral Springs might have their hands full.
Last Friday, Foreman put the finishing touches on their 7th blowout victory of the season. They made easy work of Mount Ida and carried off a 34-13 win. Senior Kyren Batey, who rushed for 190 yards and 5 touchdowns, was a major factor in Foreman's success. Batey has been a consistent playmaker for Foreman as this was the 7th good game in a row from him.
As for Mineral Springs, they won against Dierks two weeks ago with 50 points, and they decided to stick to that point total again. Mineral Springs were fully in charge, breezing past Murfreesboro 50-0. Mineral Springs were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Their wins bumped Mineral Springs to 5-2 and Foreman to 7-0. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
