The Lakeside Lutheran Warriors entered their tilt with the Lake Mills L-Cats with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Lakeside Lutheran escaped with a win on Thursday against Lake Mills by the margin of a single free throw, 61-60. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Kaycee Guzman continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 36 points along with six rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Wes Rahn, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.
Lakeside Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 19-2. As for Lake Mills, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-3.
Lakeside Lutheran will head out on the road to square off against South Milwaukee at 7:10 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake Mills, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sauk Prairie at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
