The Highland Park Giants posted their closest  victory yet this season on Saturday. They had just enough and edged Wheeling out  49-46. The  win made it back-to-back wins for Highland Park.
 Highland Park's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Kourtnie Halperin, who  scored 15 points along with six  rebounds and three  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Mckenzie Reitmayer, who  scored 15 points along with eight  rebounds and two  blocks.
 Highland Park has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matchups,  which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for Wheeling, they are  on a four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 6-14.
 Coincidentally,  the two teams will both be playing Maine East the next time they take the court. Highland Park will  host Maine East at 3:30  p.m.  on Tuesday, while Wheeling will head out to face them  at 3:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
