The Taft Wildcats were the 31-20 winner over the Wasco Tigers when they last played one another back in October of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Taft fell to Wasco 26-21.
Although Taft took the loss, they still got scores from Dylan Clark, Isaiah Lopez, and Cameron Cash.
Taft now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Wasco, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Taft will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Delano at 7:30 p.m. As for Wasco, they will head out on the road to face off against Shafter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Shafter comes in on nine and Wasco on three.
