The Williams Bulldogs can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They secured a 55-49 W over Western Alamance. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Williams also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Jaeden Smith was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with two steals. Brian Williams was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with ten rebounds.
Despite the loss, Western Alamance still got an impressive performance from James Newton, who scored 20 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Jones, who scored seven points.
Williams now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Western Alamance, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Williams will face off against Hough at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
