Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lyons). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Proviso West Panthers a 16-0 shutout on Monday. On the hitting side, Lyons let Paxton Cutler and Mia Jovicic run wild. Cutler went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one double, while Jovicic went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one triple. Those three hits gave Jovicic a new career-high. Maddy Pieroni was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
