Destrehan waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the West Jefferson Buccaneers as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Wildcats this season.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Destrehan was: they took every set by at least 16 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-9, 25-5.

Destrehan's win bumped their record up to 8-14. As for West Jefferson, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-16.

Coming up, Destrehan will host Live Oak at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Jefferson, they will venture away from home to take on Riverdale at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
