Corbin Kyes Dazzles in Central City Win
Corbin Kyes was instrumental in extending Central City's winning streak to six on Friday. Kyes was unstoppable, rushing for 172 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.6 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 146 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Central City's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Kyes and Central City will welcome Aurora on Friday.

Big Game from Zikmund As Central City Won 36-19
Central City picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Parker Zikmund. Zikmund did his part (and then some), throwing for 206 yards and four touchdowns for the 'W'.
On the season, Zikmund has thrown 27 touchdowns (and and only 5 pick) while averaging 236.1 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 1.38 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 3.63 rushing yards.

Adams Central had to settle for second on Friday, but Kaleb Wahlmeier sure wasn't going down easily. Lincoln Christian had no answer to Wahlmeier as he made ten total tackles (1.0 for loss).
Adams Central has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. Wahlmeier and Adams Central will face off against Milford on Friday.

Austin Imler Turns in Season-Best Effort
Adams Central came up short on Friday despite Austin Imler delivering his best game to date. Imler wasn't messing around, making 22 total tackles. The match was his fifth straight with seven or more total tackles dating back to last season.
On the year, Imler has averaged 10.1 total tackles per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging two total tackles per game.

Wyatt Dent Goes Supernova in Central City Victory
Wyatt Dent's big game helped extend Central City's winning streak to six on Friday. Dent was dynamite, picking up 116 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
If the past is any indication, Dent could be in store for another big game when he takes on Aurora on Friday. Dent picked up 181 receiving yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Huskies duked it out back in October of 2023.
