There's no place like home for the Delphi Community Oracles, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Friday. They rang in the new year with a 62-51 victory over Caston on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Delphi Community also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
It was another big night for Chase Almager, who scored 29 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Those 29 points set a new season-high mark for him. Walker Jones was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Delphi Community's victory bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Caston, they bumped their record down to 4-6 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Delphi Community will take on Eastern at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Eastern will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak. As for Caston, they will be playing at home against West Central at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
