The Mountain View Toros and the Thunderbird Titans will face off at 12:00 p.m. on December 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Mountain View focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 two weeks ago.
Two weeks ago, Mountain View got the win against Liberty by a conclusive 50-25. The win made it back-to-back wins for Mountain View.
Mountain View found their leader in underclassman Emma Fischbeck, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. Fischbeck continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sadie Gardner, who scored 13 points along with six steals and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 79-26, which was the final score in Thunderbird's tilt against Estrella Foothills two weeks ago. Thunderbird was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-14.
Mountain View's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Thunderbird, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
