Iongi Posts Huge Game in 45-16 Victory
Starting off the list is Orem's Feleti Iongi, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Iongi rushed for 212 yards and four touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also caught a touchdown. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 105 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Iongi must have Cedar Valley's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When Iongi last faced the Aviators back in September of 2023, he rushed for 189 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries, and also picked up 71 receiving yards.

On Friday, Timpview got the W thanks in part to Carson Rasmussen playing the best football he has all season. Rasmussen threw for 319 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 10.6 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 38 yards and a touchdown.
The victory was the third in a row for Timpview, bringing their record for this year to 4-2. It'll be Battle of the Birds when Thunderbirds faces off against Maple Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
