Even though the Phoebus Phantoms scored an imposing 56 points on Friday, the Maury Commodores still came out on top. Maury managed a  62-56 win over Phoebus. The  victory made it back-to-back wins for Maury.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Maury to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Myla  Parker, who  scored 21 points. The  game was  Parker's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Nyla  Brown, who  scored 14 points.
 Maury has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matchups,  which provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season. As for Phoebus, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
