Lafayette Christian Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Northside 55-0. The margin was wide but not a surprise since Lafayette Christian Academy are ranked far ahead of Northside in the MaxPreps state rankings. This was the first game for both teams, giving Lafayette Christian Academy a 1-0 record and starting Northside off at 0-1.
Next week, Lafayette Christian Academy take on Loreauville at 7:00 PM. As for Northside, they will face off against Slaughter Community Charter.
