Keshequa has gone 7-2 against Perry recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Indians will welcome the Yellowjackets at 5:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Perry will be up against a hot Keshequa team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Indians blew past Warsaw 12-1 on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Perry challenged Oakfield-Alabama in a bug-themed battle on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Hornets.
Walker Briggs made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Perry is 5-1 when Briggs allows one or fewer earned runs, but 1-2 otherwise. Briggs was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2025.
In other batting news, Patrick Feroleto was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Zachery Baker, who went 2-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Perry was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oakfield-Alabama only posted a batting average of .214.
Keshequa now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Perry, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.
Thursday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Keshequa has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .472. However, it's not like Perry struggles in that department as they've averaged .448. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Keshequa beat Perry 5-2 when the teams last played back in May of 2025. Do the Indians have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Yellowjackets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
