The third road contest was the charm for Archbishop Curley, as they earned their first road win of the season. They managed a 62-56 win over Randallstown on Monday.
Meanwhile, Chapelgate Christian Academy earned a 67-56 victory over Annapolis Area Christian on Wednesday.
Chapelgate Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Justin Bishop, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Julian Sabbat, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds.
Archbishop Curley's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-5. As for Chapelgate Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7.
Archbishop Curley took their win against Chapelgate Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 by a conclusive 67-41.
