When it comes to explaining why Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family lost, one person who can't be blamed is Owen Kurtenbach. Despite the final result, he scored six points along with three steals and two blocks. Kurtenbach is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last three games he's played.
Pender was led to victory by Alex Roth and Zander Welsh. Roth scored 15 points along with seven rebounds, while Welsh scored 12 points along with six steals. Gannon Walsh was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Pender, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.
