 Isabella Gallegos made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out eight batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (and not a single walk). That's the first time  she hasn't allowed a single  hit since back in February of 2024. She was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances with one  home run, four  runs,  and four  RBI. That's the most  runs  she has posted since back in April of 2024.
 In other batting news,  Emma Rodiguez was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three  stolen bases, six  RBI,  and three  runs. What's more,  she posted two  doubles, the most she's  had since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ainsley Milligan, who  scored four  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-3.

As for Highland, they will look to defend their home field  on Tuesday against Del Norte  at 3:30  p.m. Highland is facing Del Norte at the right time seeing as Del Norte is stuck on  a  four-game losing streak.
