The Euclid Panthers came into Friday's match having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They snuck past Shaker Heights with a 64-58 win on Friday. The victory was just what Euclid needed coming off of a 109-83 defeat in their prior match.
Thai Duncan continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 31 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Myckel Davis, who scored 14 points.
Euclid's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-15. As for Shaker Heights, they dropped their record down to 3-16 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home.
Euclid didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 82-61 win vs. Benedictine on the 10th. Shaker Heights will head out on the road to challenge Rhodes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
