Jaylen Johnson Delivers Electric Effort Vs Northside
Starting off the list is Thomas County Central's Jaylen Johnson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Johnson threw for 231 yards and three touchdowns on only 19 passes, and also rushed for 59 yards and a touchdown. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.
Johnson and Thomas County Central are taking a road trip to take on Houston County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Johnson will face off against Antwann Hill Jr, the Bears' star QB. Kromah Posts Huge Game in 67-10 Victory
Lee County picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Ousmane Kromah. Kromah turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up 96 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 74 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.
Veterans's probably not too fond of Kromah given he always seems to get the better of them. When Kromah last faced the Warhawks back in October of 2023, he rushed for 151 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.4 yards per carry, and also picked up 54 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Rodney Dunbar Delivers Best Effort of Season
Rodney Dunbar produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Thomas County Central to the win on Friday. Dunbar picked up 103 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Dunbar and Thomas County Central will square off against Houston County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The contest will pit Dunbar up against the Bears' star receiver Isaiah Mitchell. The only thing left to do is find out who's the greater deep ball threat. You'll have to watch the game to know for sure.

Lee County Wins Eighth-Straight Thanks to Weston Bryan
Weston Bryan was instrumental in extending Lee County's winning streak to eight on Friday. Bryan turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 276 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes.
Veterans had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Bryan it was a similar story. When Bryan last faced the Warhawks back in October of 2023, he threw for 170 yards and three touchdowns on only 16 passes, and also rushed for 44 yards and a touchdown.

Lee County picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Canton Williams. Williams produced his best game of the campaign : he rushed for 66 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries.
This season, Williams has run in 7 touchdowns while averaging 57 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he had two rushing touchdowns.
