Turtle Mountain was handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Valley City on Friday. Everything went the Turtle Mountain Braves' way against the Valley City Hi-Liners as the Turtle Mountain Braves made off with a 68-47 victory. The Braves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 21 points or more this season.

Turtle Mountain has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.0 points per game. As for Valley City, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-1.

Turtle Mountain won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Shiloh Christian at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Turtle Mountain knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Shiloh Christian likes a good challenge. As for Valley City, they will challenge Devils Lake at 7:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
