It was a good run, but the Lithia Springs Lions unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 76-65 to Tri-Cities. Lithia Springs has struggled against Tri-Cities recently, as their contest on Saturday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tri-Cities to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kamon Canty, who scored 18 points. Canty continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Tre Keith, who scored 18 points along with six assists and two steals.
Lithia Springs' loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-9. As for Tri-Cities, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lithia Springs and Midtown will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Tri-Cities, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Creekside at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
