Baseball Recap: Wabasha-Kellogg Triumphs

Fans were treated to a battle of the Falcons on Tuesday. Wabasha-Kellogg skirted past Fillmore Central/Lanesboro 7-5. This was payback for Wabasha-Kellogg, who suffered a 4-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

The victory made it two in a row for Wabasha-Kellogg and bumps their season record up to 3-10. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.5 runs across that stretch. As for Fillmore Central/Lanesboro, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Coming up, Wabasha-Kellogg will challenge Chatfield at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fillmore Central/Lanesboro, they will host Rushford-Peterson at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
