Softball Recap: Arcanum Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Arcanum, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Mississinawa Valley Blackhawks on Thursday as they made off with an 11-4 win. Considering the Trojans have won five matches by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Arcanum has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Mississinawa Valley, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Arcanum will square off against rival Ansonia at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mississinawa Valley is set to challenge their familiar foe Twin Valley South at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
