After flying high against the Thomasville Bulldogs last Tuesday, the South Davidson Wildcats came back down to earth. South Davidson was beaten by East Davidson 75-37 on Friday. South Davidson was down 58-29 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Despite the loss, South Davidson still got an impressive performance from Kayra Hulin, who scored 24 points along with eight rebounds. That was a full 64.9% of South Davidson's points, marking the seventh time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
South Davidson's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for East Davidson, the victory got them back to even at 11-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Davidson will take on West Davidson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully South Davidson focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 31 on Friday. As for East Davidson, they will be playing at home against Thomasville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Thomasville is coming into the match with seven straight wins on the road, so East Davidson is out to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
