The Batavia Bulldogs had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Oswego 59-26 on the road.
Among those leading the charge was Brooke Carlson, who scored 16 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Batavia's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylee Gehrt, who scored 11 points.
Batavia's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Oswego, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Batavia is on the road again on Saturday and play against Kenwood at 1:00 p.m. on November 25th. Kenwood has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 232 points over their last three matches. As for Oswego, they will square off against Homewood-Flossmoor at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Homewood-Flossmoor is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
