The Potter-Dix Coyotes were the 47-43 winner over the South Platte Blue Knights when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. Potter-Dix took a 43-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of South Platte.
South Platte's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Conner Evans led the charge by dropping a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. Evans hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Dashle Richards, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Potter-Dix has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season. As for South Platte, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Potter-Dix will head out on the road to take on Prairie at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in their respective states (Prairie is ranked 191st in Colorado, while Potter-Dix is ranked 196th in Nebraska). As for South Platte, they will take on Garden County at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Garden County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 last Tuesday.
