Brewster will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Mabton at 7:00 PM. Brewster are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the matchup prepared for a fight.
Last week, Brewster came up short against Quincy, falling 20-32. Brewster got a solid performance out of senior Joe Taylor, who rushed for 155 yards and 1 touchdown; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the win.
Meanwhile, Mabton found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 20-45 punch to the gut against Columbia. Mabton were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 6-26.
The losses dropped Brewster to 0-2 and Mabton 1-1. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
