After two games on the road, Ganado is heading back home. They will take on the Palacios Sharks at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. On Tuesday, Ganado ended up a good deal behind Edna and lost 61-42. Ganado has not had much luck with Edna recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Despite their loss, Ganado saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Isabel Tristan, who scored 12 points along with 5 rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Michaela Estrada, who scored 4 points along with 12 rebounds.
Palacios has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 29 points or more this season. They blew past Brazos, posting a 69-15 win on the road.
The last time Ganado won on the road was back last Tuesday. Having now lost three straight away games, they've bumped their record down to 5-5. As for Palacios, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.
Things could have been worse for Ganado, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 45-29 loss to Palacios in their previous meeting on November 11th.
