Bermudian Springs is a perfect 8-0 against York County Tech since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Eagles are taking a road trip to challenge the Spartans at 4:15 p.m. Bermudian Springs will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
Bermudian Springs barely beat Littlestown the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles blew past the Thunderbolts 9-0 on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won seven contests by nine runs or more so far this season.

Branson Diller made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one double and one RBI. Those four hits gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Bermudian Springs got a massive performance out of Dylan Hubbard, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Lane Hubbard was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.
Bermudian Springs was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .471. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, York County Tech didn't have quite enough to beat Fairfield on Wednesday and fell 3-2. The loss continues a trend for the Spartans in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost four in a row.
Tyler Quickel was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles and one stolen base.
Bermudian Springs' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for York County Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
York County Tech's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Bermudian Springs has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .488. It's a different story for York County Tech, though, as they've only averaged .314. Will they be able to contain Bermudian Springs' hitters?
Bermudian Springs took their win against York County Tech in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 15-0 score. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
