Basketball Game Preview: East Bladen Eagles vs. South Columbus Stallions

East Bladen has gone 10-0 against South Columbus recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The East Bladen Eagles will host the South Columbus Stallions at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (East Bladen has three straight victories, South Columbus has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

East Bladen is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing West Columbus: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that East Bladen blew West Columbus out of the water with a 58-17 final score. Meanwhile, South Columbus took a blow against East Columbus on Friday, falling 48-5. The contest marked the Stallions' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

South Columbus' defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for East Bladen, their victory bumped their record up to 15-3.

Everything came up roses for East Bladen against South Columbus in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as the squad secured a 55-13 win. In that match, East Bladen amassed a halftime lead of 28-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Monday.
