The Palm Bay Pirates had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat Atlantic 62-18 on the road. Palm Bay has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 20 points or more this season.
Palm Bay found their leader in underclassman Erynn Moffett, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kiara Williams, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Palm Bay's victory bumped their record up to 19-7. As for Atlantic, they now have a losing record at 11-12.
Palm Bay didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 67-39 victory vs. Cocoa on the 9th. Atlantic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
