Baseball Recap: Lewisburg's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

It was a good run, but Lewisburg unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central Columbia Bluejays. The Green Dragons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bluejays earlier this season, when they won 6-3.

Lewisburg saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cohen Hoover, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Lewisburg's loss dropped their record down to 8-11-1. As for Central Columbia, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-10.

Coming up, Lewisburg will venture away from home to face off against Shikellamy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Central Columbia, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 5-0 win against Bloomsburg on the 10th.
