The DuSable Panthers typically have all the answers at home, but on Wednesday the Tilden Blue Devils proved too difficult a challenge. They took down the Panthers 40-23. This was payback for Tilden, who suffered a 17-9 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Despite the defeat, DuSable had strong showings from Damaya Plant, who scored 12 points, and Lanae Harris, who scored nine points.
Tilden's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for DuSable, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-5.
