Cypress Creek found their leader in underclassman Iliana Dorvilus, who scored 12 points along with 6 assists and 4 steals. The matchup was Dorvilus' third in a row with at least ten points. Timberlyn Campbell was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Despite the defeat, Celebration saw an underclassman step up: Evelyn Juden dropped a double-double on 17 points and 14 rebounds. Juden scored a full 45.9% of Celebration's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Eileen Bolejack, who scored 12 points along with 5 steals.
Cypress Creek now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Celebration, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
