The Medina Mustangs had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 64-55 victory over Albion on Thursday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Medina found their leader in underclassman Jerrell Nealy, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which Nealy has scored at least 25% of Medina's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Justin Pitts, who scored 13 points along with four steals.
Medina's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Albion, they bumped their record down to 0-4 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road dating back to last season.
Medina will face off against Barker at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Albion, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Royalton-Hartland at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
