Park has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Mounds View Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the pair posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Last Friday, Park escaped with a win against Forest Lake by the margin of a single free throw, 68-67.
Meanwhile, Mounds View didn't have too much trouble with Irondale on the road on Friday as they won 74-59. Given Mounds View's advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 75th, while Irondale is ranked 302nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
The victory got Park back to even at 7-7. As for Mounds View, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.
Park skirted past Mounds View 61-58 when the teams last played back in February of 2023. Will Park repeat their success, or does Mounds View have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
