Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Clearwater). They never let the Dexter Bearcats get on the board and left with a 29-0 win on Tuesday. Considering the Fightin' Tigers have won 14 contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Clearwater's victory was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.3 runs over those games. As for Dexter, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clearwater will venture away from home to challenge West County at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Fightin' Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season. As for Dexter, they will face off against Campbell at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
