After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Berlin Brothersvalley, Meyersdale was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the North Star Cougars an 8-0 shutout. The Red Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by eight runs or more this season.
Isabella Sleasman was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Karleigh Beal, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
