Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Brookfield). They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 72-69 victory over the Trenton Bulldogs on Monday. The win was a breath of fresh air for Brookfield as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Brookfield's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-10. As for Trenton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brookfield will take on Salisbury at 7:30 p.m. on January 21st. As for Trenton, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lathrop at 7:30 p.m. on February 3rd.
