Avery Brawner posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. She struck out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits (and not a single walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.

Brawner's strong effort led Haven over Hoisington and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
