If the Lifegate Christian Falcons were feeling good off their 49-28 takedown of the Town East Christian Eagles last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Lifegate Christian took a serious blow against Sunnybrook Christian on Thursday, falling 89-61. While losing is never fun, Lifegate Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1185th, while Sunnybrook Christian is ranked 429th).
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sunnybrook Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Christian Huber, who dropped a double-double on 37 points and ten rebounds. Huber hasn't dropped below 15points for six straight games. Another player making a difference was Gabe Minica, who almost dropped a triple-double on 22 points, 13 rebounds, and nine steals.

Lifegate Christian will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Founders Classical Academy at 6:30 p.m. Hopefully Founders Classical Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 last Tuesday. As for Sunnybrook Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge San Marcos HomeSchool at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in San Marcos HomeSchool's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last seven games.
