Belfast will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Mount Desert Island at 7:00 PM. Belfast aren't expected to win, but seeing as the odds didn't stop them last game, maybe the squad has another upset up their sleeve.
Their game two weeks ago wasn't at all kind to Belfast, but their most recent game may have softened the blow. Last Friday, they secured a 32-27 W over Old Town. The win was a breath of fresh air for Belfast as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
As for Mount Desert Island, they had a rough outing against Nokomis two weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Mount Desert Island took the match and then some with a 52-8 victory over John Bapst Memorial. The rankings were on Mount Desert Island's side, but they didn't forecast quite such a lopsided result.
