Laneville is 8-2 against Kennard since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Laneville Yellowjackets will look to defend their home court against the Kennard Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Laneville will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive.
Last Friday, Laneville was able to grind out a solid win over Neches, taking the game 54-41.
Laneville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jamorian Williams, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 16 rebounds. Williams hasn't dropped below 11 rebounds for 12 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Matthew Johnson, who scored 16 points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Kennard pushed their score all the way to 60 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 70-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of Wells. Kennard has not had much luck with Wells recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Laneville is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-13 record this season. As for Kennard, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-24 record this season.
