While Connor Usowski delivered a dominant effort on Monday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Port Byron. Usowski wasn't messing around, striking out 13 batters over 6.2 innings while giving up three earned (and six unearned) runs off six hits. The pitching appearance was his eighth straight with eight or more strikeouts.

Looking ahead, Usowski and Port Byron will venture away from home to take on Tully at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
