Adding to the longest winning streak in TAPPS Six-Man Division II District 5 (6 Man) this week, Living Stones Christian beat River City Believers Academy 77-32. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.
Living Stones Christian led the league in scoring this week by notching 77 points on the Soldiers. Coltan Bofinger threw for 457 yards and 10 touchdowns in the win.
Tyler Sanders' team's Bofinger and Andrew Schlemmer have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-8 quarterback Bofinger has thrown for 3,343 yards this season, while Schlemmer has 45 catches for 936 yards. Legacy Prep Christian Academy's Ben Bargainer leads the league in rushing yards with 818.
Schlemmer of the the Lions' is a few catches away from breaking 1,000 yards for the season. He needs only 64 receiving yards in this week's game against Castle Hills First Baptist to get there. So far this year, he has garnered 45 catches for 936 yards.
The longest pass in the league this week was acheived by Living Stones Christian's Bofinger. He connected with Schlemmer on a 52-yard pass as the Lions defeated River City Believers Academy.
