Genesee won the last time they faced International Academy, and Averie Zinn did her part to make sure it happened again. The Genesee Wolves took down the International Academy Phoenix 64-49 on Tuesday thanks in part to Zinn, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and ten steals. The match was her 25th in a row with at least ten points.

Selena Garcia was another key player, almost dropping a triple-double on 14 points, 11 rebounds, and nine steals. That's the most points she has posted since back in February of 2024.

Genesee has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points per game. As for International Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Genesee will look to defend their home court on Friday against Morrice at 6:00 p.m. As for International Academy, they will challenge Cedarville at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
