Even though the Holcomb Hornets scored an imposing 55 points on Tuesday, the Senath-Hornersville Lions still came out on top. Senath-Hornersville walked away with a 68-55 win over Holcomb. That's another feather in the cap for Senath-Hornersville, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Holcomb's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bryce McNabb, who scored 14 points along with 8 rebounds and 6 assists. McNabb is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Landon Smith, who scored 15 points along with 7 rebounds.
The victory got Senath-Hornersville back to even at 1-1. As for Holcomb, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
