Oregon's final high school football state championship was decided Saturday.
Central Catholic (12-2) rolled past Lake Oswego (11-3) 49-28 to capture its fifth state title in school history.
After losing to rival Jesuit in early October, the Rams reeled off nine straight wins – including Saturday's final – en route to the title. Central Catholic also took home the hardware in 1952, 1953, 2013 and 2014.
Thurston (5A), La Grande (4A), Santiam Christian (3A), Heppner (2A) and Adrian/Jordan Valley (1A) earned championship hardware last weekend.
